Driver Safety and Training
Christopher W. Ferrone, Vice President of Logistics and Engineering for our Company for over 30 years and has his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. Chris has worked in areas of procurement, vehicle specifications, maintenance and design in an effort to optimize Motorcoaches for both safety and performance.
We have a fleet of Coach Buses, Trolleys, and Upper Deckers. Our Coach Vehicles are equipped with GPS Devices to that we can track the whereabouts of each vehicle and enable us to provide assistance in an emergency.
Our maintenance facility is equipped with our own highly trained mechanics who work in our 10,500 square foot maintained facility. Our storage facility, across the street, is 15,000 square feet and has three outdoor parking lots for equipment and employees vehicles. We also have our own stock room, that an inventory of spare parts, which is available in the event of an emergency or breakdown. If we have a problem on the road we have an extensive network of companies that can provide services if necessary, as well as our own on-site mechanics.
Donald Ferrone's son Chris Ferrone is Vice President of Maintenance as is responsible for our Garage facility and Vehicle Maintenance..
Every day, Pre-Trip and Post Trip Inspections are preformed on our vehicles by our drivers and given to our mechanics.
Our mechanics perform regular inspections of all vehicles and Annual DOT Inspections are preformed to maintain compliance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Our Drivers have been trained in Anti-Terrorism by the Community Anti-Terrorism Training Institute
Your successful charter and Trolley Tour begins with safe equipment and safe drivers. Your safety and enjoyment is our number one concern. Our drivers are always willing to assist our passengers.
All of our drivers are CDL licensed drivers, who are have been Coach Bus and Trolley drivers for years. Our drivers are extremely knowledgeable of various sights in the City of Chicago and will make your trip enjoyable and informative.
Our drivers are trained by our company's Safety Manager four times a year. We provide our drivers quarterly discussion meetings, watch safety videos and participate in group discussions regarding ADA Compliance, Driver Fatigue, Driver Logs, Turning Safely, Crisis management, Customer Car and Passenger Safety, Pre-Trip Inspections, Driver's Hours of Service, Highway Driving Hazards and City Driving Hazards, to mention some of the topics discussed at the Training Sessions. We require our drivers to attend these Safety Meetings so that we will better train them to be able to better serve you, the rider.
